Century Plyboards (I) Ltd., makers of the well-known ‘Centuryply’ brand of Plywood and decorative veneers, was set up in 1986 in Kolkata, a joint effort of Mr. Sajjan Bhajanka and Mr. Sanjay Agarwal. The largest seller of plywood and decorative veneers in the Indian organized plywood market, Centuryply today is the leading brand and in its short duration of existence has created a special niche for itself in the industry. It’s raining Placement down in BIBS, as it now have Century Ply in their bag as their recruiter for the Batch of 2011. Century Ply came to BIBS for campus recruitment on 14th Feb, 2011. They had a series of process lined up for the students. Starting from a Corporate Presentation followed by a GD and PI , the process was to test the candidates from all perspective.

the candidates were energetic as there was a lot of enthusiasm in the candidates. Finally Akash Samanta, a student of the Batch of 2011 Marketing Specialization made it through in Century Ply.

Akash Samanta says, “Century ply is a brand in itself and the leader in the industry. Getting an opportunity to work with them is in itself a great achievement. I am very happy and consider myself to be lucky enough to get my final placement in such an esteemed organization. I would like to thank BIBS for its continuous help and support.”
