It was a motivating session for everyone from the MBA 2010-12 batch. Mr. Saumit Shankar Das - Senior Manager ESPN visited the BIBS campus that day as a part of Corporate @ Campus which is an ongoing program in BIBS.

The points touched by the esteemed guest hit the right chord. His speech was focused on dreams and its impact on the lives of human beings. “It is our dreams which takes us forward”, he said and this is the only secret to success, he reinstated. Pointing out to the importance of hard work and dedication in life; he said that being a

part of a corporate business was a never ending game – success of which could not be judged in just monetary terms. The only way to be successful is to be passionate and focused in what we choose to do in life, he said.

Exemplifying his talk with the inspiring story of Steve Jobs and Apple’s “Be flexible and keep upgrading the skill sets you are interested in mastering”, was his mantra for success in the corporate world.

Apart from these he also entertained industry specific queries of the students and gave everyone an insight on the functioning, opportunities and major obstacles in media industry.
