Life, today has become a race and each individual is running their own race. We all are working hard to win the race of life. It was a privilege for the students of BIBS MBA (2011-13) batch to have with us, the HR Manager of Future Group, Kolkata, Mr. Konkon Bose who addressed us and shared his experience of 10 years.

He gave us a brief about how to be come competent to fight the race of the life, more importantly how to sustain and become a winner in this competitive world. According to him, the key to success is “Constant Learning”.

He, as a HR professional emphasized that an organization today

requires a person who knows the problem as well as provide the solutions to them. He mentioned that someone becomes what he or she is by choice and not compulsion. The blame cannot be transpired to anyone for what we are and what we will be as it entirely in one’s hands.

We consider our self to be fortunate to have his guidance and mentoring at the very beginning of our management education journey. He concluded saying that a huge investment has been made for us by our parents as well as by us and we must make it worth the investment.
