He then took the discussion one step talking about life and its various experiences and related to the examples which he has faced early in his professional career. He related the discussion on life with one’s goal and how to achieve it. He pointed out minute things in day to day life which could have an impact on your goals and ambitions. He stressed the importance of looking forward during struggles and obstacles and warned us against succumbing to pressure and to erase the word “PROBLEM” from our dictionary. He focused on the importance of academics and management education because according to him, this is a stepping stone toward building a rock solid foundation in one’s career.

He spoke about the various roles and responsibilities of HR i.e., performance management systems, staffing, compensation and benefits, employee engagement programs etc. etc.

Finally he concluded the session stressing on building good teams, bringing cohesiveness among members and increase in interpersonal relationships and group dynamics among participants.

Overall it was an excellent session from Mr. Agarwal and all of us really enjoyed it.
