Kolkata, 25th February 2021 : Bengal Institute of Business Studies (BIBS), a West Bengal based business school, today announced its collaboration with IBM to offer courses in Data Science and Business Analytics in Kolkata. BIBS is the first and only business school in West Bengal with a regular, full-time MBA in Business Analytics and Data Science to sign up with IBM for an academic collaboration.
The MBA in Business Analytics and Data Science programme curated in association with IBM is a unique blend of IBM’s world class industry expertise along with the training and mentoring talent of BIBS faculty. The two-year program will teach students statistical concepts, provide opportunities to work with data in Python, perform analytics using popular Python libraries, master R, SQL, Cognos Analytics, Matplotlib and test their skillsets on industry case studies. The program also provides students the opportunity to work on a portfolio-worthy capstone project that will demonstrate applied skills, hands on exposure and tool usage.

Students will also get opportunities for IBM project visits and participate in Tech Fests and Hackathons organized by IBM.
